Directions from NYC: It's cheaper than the NYC subway! Take the one of the following subway trains to 34th street in NYC: B, D, F, M, N, Q, or R.
Then, board the NJ Path Train at 33rd Street & 6th Ave and take it to Journal Square station in NJ. Transfer to the Path train headed to Newark. Newark is the last stop. The Path train is about a 35-40 minute ride from NYC to Newark. (See Path train here)
