CCN Saturday was EXTRAORDINARY!

(continued from previous post: "CCN Saturday"...)

Tiffany got to witness to actor, Samuel L. Jackson, who stood very quietly as she went through scripture.


Afterwards, he allowed her to pray for him. When we left, he just stood there, staring into space, right in front of Madame Tussaud's Wax Musuem. He remained there all night, very pensive. Please pray for him.



We also met a beautiful woman of God, Irma, who serves the Lord alone on the streets of New York City, handing out tracts, and preaching the gospel. What an encouragement! We listened with joy to our sister's stories of God's glory, and prayed for her. She also prayed for us! Please keep this woman of God, Irma, in prayer. When we are her age, we want to be serving the Lord with her energy and zeal. She is yet another older person who I have met, who has an enormous amount of zeal, tenacity, and energy to serve the LORD because she actively goes out of her way to witness.

We also met a young man, Andre, who was on his way to Newark from Texas. He shared that he was from a Christian background, and we invited him on our journey, as we preached and witnessed. During the subway ride, Nick got to know him, and shared with him more about the Christian walk, plus how and why we witness. This was our "friendship evangelism" for the day! Later, he sent us an email through our webite, sharing that he was encouraged greatly and even shared about CCN with his friends back home. Please pray for our friend, Andre!

We all got home in the wee hours of the morning - somewhere around 2 and 3AM. But, we all arose with a fresh zeal, and were dressed and ready for church the next day! No excuses!

CCN Saturday - A Success!

The Praise Report!

Our first "CCN Saturday" was an awesome success! By the grace of God, we had an awesome time of prayer, weeping and crying out to the Lord, wondeful worship and encouragement through the Word! The Lord heard our cry for boldness and then blessed us with an amazing outreach, where the gospel was proclaimed with boldness and compassion. Finally, we broke our fast and broke bread for fellowship!

After prayer, and after cleaning her face from her running mascara, Tiffany was surprised with a birthday cake! She's a happy 27 year-old!

Shantel rejoices that the Holy Spirit gave her the boldness to share the gospel with so many people (more than some Christians share the gospel with in a lifetime)! We rejoiced with her, and the angels rejoice over one souls that repents!














Cecilee shared the gospel to a crowd of men who actually cheered for her. Unfortunately, they were drunk. God willing, the message shocked them sober, and planted a seed of repentance and faith in Christ in them.




















After the gospel was preached, we received some great encouragement from some sisters in the Lord, who thanked us for sharing the gospel and encouraged us to continue. All in all, the Lord blessed us with great crowds on almost every train! We praise the Lord for hearing and answering our morning prayer!

We give God all the honor and all the praise for this wonderful time of soul winning for His glory! May He save many, who heard His Gospel preached!

CCN becomes the first organization to host the David Berkowitz Evangelistic Event!

Former notorious serial killer, David Berkowitz, now born-again believer, is reaching out to college students from behind bars. Through his best friend, Dan Nichols, Mr. Berkowitz's testimony is being shared to large groups of college students during special events, entitled "Meet the Best Friend of David Berkowitz." The evangelistic event consists of a video presentation, personal testimony of Mr. Berkowitz's conversion as told through Dan Nichols, and a reading of an actual letter typed out by Mr. Berkowitz's himself, personally encouraging the students to repent and trust in Jesus Christ. Nichols ensures that the gospel message is presented clearly, biblically, and boldly, even after it is presented in the video, spoken testimony, and the letter. The purpose of the event? To win souls to Christ!

The first event took place on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Seton Hall University not long after Mr. Berkowitz sent his testimony on tape to Tiffany Gelpi, President of CHANGE Collegian Network (CCN). Mr. Berkowitz learned of Tiffany through a mutual friend, Dan Nichols. Mr. Nichols and Tiffany share the same love for biblical evangelism, having met through Kirk Cameron, host of the award-winning evangelism training show, Way of the Master.com. Soon after suggesting to LaShelle White, the CCN Campus Leader at Seton Hall University, to create an event using David's testimony, Dan Nichols hopped on board, obtaining the support of Mr. Berkowitz to host the event.

After the event, Mr. Nichols was requested to speak at other colleges, including The University of Nevada Las Vegas and Ramapo College of New Jersey, where a second CHANGE Collegian Network fellowship labors, sparking the beginning of a string of evangelistic events using the fame of David Berkowitz to draw attendees. Even a church in Nevada took advantage of the opportunity to share Christ in this peculiar and innovative way. Mr. Berkowitz encourages Christians to use his unique story of a serial killer turned born-again Christian as "bait", in order to capture the attention of as many souls as possible, who can then be led to salvation in Christ Jesus. Mr. Berkowitz does not receive any compensation or donations for his endeavors. His genuine attempts to reach the lost for Christ stems from his sincere heart for souls, and his authentic relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Much is happening at CCN/This Week Evangelism!

Much is happening in CCN!

We have our new CCN Theme Song (unmastered version), which will be played when you launch our new and improved website (currently under construction as we speak)!

We are pleased to inform you that we currently are meeting with 2 leaders from 2 separate Christian organizations, and contacting a third on one of our campuses and request your prayers as they consider working with us this coming school year!

Our very own SHU Campus Leader, Lashelle White is hosting an evangelism Mini-Boot Camp at her church, where she will train youths and adults in biblical evangelism, which we also request your prayers for. This is great preparation for her as she will be leading the SHU Training Fellowships this school year. Lechelle Herron and Cecilee Bonsu will be working together on the MSU campus.

We have an awesome addition to our team, Adrian Borges, who is helping to produce our radio show, CCN Radio (currently under production), which will air from our website in the future. Adrian has experience working in Christian radio and we look forward to him adding his expertise to the much anticipated project. Please keep him in prayer, as well as our lively hosts, Ana Mercedes and Joel Peixoto.

Nick Astacio will also be adding his creative expertise this fall as we work on didactic video projects, and Freddy "Traxx" Rodriguez, who produced our theme song, will produce our audio learning aids.

ARE YOU EXCITED, YET? I KNOW I AM! BUT, LOOK, THERE'S MORE!

The most exciting developments lie in the changes of the CCN curriculum. During the summer, I have been working hard on an upcoming Leadership Guide, and this will be an easy-to-read guide for the leaders to help them effectively train their campus team! This will allow CCN Leaders to train in Biblical Evangelism and apologetics in a clear, concise manner.

On top of this two new teaching guides are being produced, which will help CCN students to disciple new converts in a personal one-to-one 7-week Foundational Bible Study, where they can befriend their new friend in Christ, while helping them to grow! Plus, another bible study guide, which will help teach those who express interest in Christianity, but are not sure.

Are you excited, yet?

Listen Saints, CCN is not some fly-by-night ministry... We are here for the long haul! Souls are going to be soundly saved, discipled, and trained to save others with biblical evangelism!

Finally, the countdown begins as to when CCN will officially receive it's 501 (c) 3 Tax-exempt status! It looks as if by the end of August '06 this may occur. Sign up to volunteer at a popular concert ministry to help lead souls to Christ!

Revelation Generation is a concert ministry featuring popular contemporary Christian music artists such as The Newsboys, Relient K, El Savador, MXPX, and other Christian artists performing on multiple stages at a one-day festival in Frenchtown, NJ this Labor Day weekend!

This ministry draws in thousands of spiritually hungry youths and adults, along with soundly saved and false converts. In other words, this place is a harvest field that is ripe for the picking!

The owners of Revelation Generation has asked GNN to train their volunteers in biblical evangelism! That's right! That means:

• Christians from all over the Tri-State area who volunteer to be a "Prayer Evangelist" at this event will be trained in Biblical Evangelism! That means more Christians potentially spreading the gospel biblically in their daily lives, which is what the owners of Rev. Gen. has instructed us to enforce - a lifestyle of pro-active evangelism
• Potentially more Christians signing up to join the GNN team in weekly outreaches in their area
• More churches teaching biblical evangelism
• More souls coming to Christ and being soundly saved in the tri-state area!

What's the story behind this great miracle?

Mr. and Mrs. Grom started this ministry only 6 years ago on their farm and it has grown to include major music artists. This year, they invited Stephen Baldwin and Duffy Robbins to share the gospel and do the alter calls. They pursued another evangelistic ministry to train their Prayer Evangelist volunteers who respond to the alter and pray with those who come to the alter. However, the door kept shutting and they became worried that they would not have anyone to train their volunteers. Until in April or May, only last month, someone saw The Way of the Master and they became on fire for biblical evangelism and attended The Fund Raising Banquet in Jersey City for the WOTM Radio show. There they met GNN Founder/President Darrel Rundus and from there began working with GNN to set up training sessions to train their volunteers!
